Project description

EFPF developed a federated smart factory ecosystem that enables a direct connection between the various stakeholders in the field of digital manufacturing and creates easier access to existing and future offerings. The EFPF platform allows its users to use innovative functionalities, experiment with disruptive approaches and develop customised solutions.

This will sustainably improve connectivity, interoperability and efficiency in the supply chains, among other things. The project was completed in December 2022 and the results, in particular the federated online marketplace as a single point of sale for smart manufacturing offerings and a technical middleware (data spine) for the efficient integration of different Industry 4.0 solutions, were handed over to the EFPF spin-off, the European Factory Foundation (EFF).
